Bronco II Page
Basically when I found this truck I was looking for something with a good body and clean interior that I could really show off some of my technical/mechanical skills with. I also had my heart set on a B2. I ended up picking this 1990 Ford Bronco II XLT in the fall of '97. I was looking for about 3-4 months before I found this one.
Overall it was in decent shape, (compared to some of the wrecks I looked at) the body had one little ding in it and a little bit of rust on the passenger rear quarter panel. The paint was dull, but I was expecting to paint whatever I got none the less. The motor was shot (the lifters were tapping hard) but it was drivable. I was also prepared to put a motor in whatever I bought because I didn't want to mess around with something that wasn't properly taken care of from day one. I had another car at the time so I was able to take my time building the truck. My ultimate goal was to purchase something and rebuild it from the ground up.
