The picture below is me and my two lovely daughters standing on the summit of Heart Mountain in the summer of 2005. We were camping in Kananaskis Country with my brothers and their families.
The following picture was taken at the same time [and the same location] as the one above. The hike to the summit took us about two hours, perhaps a little longer....not bad considering the crowd of kids we had along with us. In the valley in the background you can see the Bow River and the highway near where we parked.
Recently, I went on a trip to Mali, a country in West Africa. It was a very interesting and enjoyable trip for me, and it was my first experience in a Third World country. It is difficult to put the experience into words, and the pictures barely do the place justice....enjoy.
