I have recently purchased a 66 U15 with a 170ci engine. I am trying to find what carburetor belongs in it, the one in it is not correct and has been rigged to work. I am going to restor to origional and I am looking for illustrations and photos of origional 66 bronco's to help me with the restoration. Thanks.

66 Carb issue
It uses an Autolite 1100. The carb is very similar to a Mustang / Falcon unit; however, from my understanding there are some internal differences that allowed it to function at greater angles. They do show up on ebay from time to time. You can use one from a Mustang if you like, they are identical in appearance as long as you get one for a manual transmission. Also, some of the larger Bronco/ Mustang suppliers sell them.
Good Luck,
Paul

Carb Issue
Thanks for the information. I thought it was an 1100 but was not sure. The carb in it works fine but I will keep and eye out for the correct one.
