2005 Rocky Mountain Rendezvous: RMR(July 28th-31th)
I've set the date and place for the 2005 RMR. The dates for 2005 will be the last weekend in July 28th-31th. It will be held in the Beuna Vista Colorado. I have yet to find a camp site but there is a KOA close by that has everything we will be needing including cabins. Some of the area trails we will be running will include Chinamans gulch, Wheeler lake, Iron Chest, MT. Antero, Tin cup, And maybe the Hard core Carnage Canyon or the Independence trail system. At this timeI really don't know for sure what we will run, But Joe Lougee and myself will be spending some time pre running the trails the week before the event. If you want to spend some more time in the area to vacation some besides the wheeling there is also excellent fishing and class IV white water rafting on the Arkansas river. I just got off the phone with the Buena Vista KOA and
we've decided that's where we're going to stay. RMR dates are 28-31
July, I'll be there from 22-31 July.
Now, if I can get a head count for who plans to attend the RMR this year
in beautiful Buena Vista Colorado and what type of facilities you'd like
we can block off a bunch of sites mostly together. If that's just too
much organization, just tell me so and I'll let him know. If we get
about 10 sites/cabins/whatever together he'll also give us a 10%
discount. Bear in mind that's in the middle of Summer here in CO and
places fill up fast. Reservations are up to the individual, just let
him know you're with the Bronco 4x4 group.
