I have an 1986 ford bronco, fullsize. Im running a 302 in it. My problem is that its suddenly stopped running. We thought it was the fuel pump,but then we got the pump to run,however as soon as we did it started leaking fuel all over the place and my injectors wont fire.
My boyfriend and I dont know what to do... He was suppose to take it to a shop of his buddies and have the computer read it,but somehow he's failed to do that,sayin the guys to busy- its been a least a week and I want my truck back...

I have just had a new Holly carb installed....1970 Bronc
runs great for a while (twenty mins.) then seems to flood itself out during idle.....
ANY THOUGHTS?

I just got my 74 running and it has 3 on the tree. I have to open the hood and push the reverse linkage to the engaged position for it to go in reverse. Why doesn't the tree move the reverse linkage? Thanks Ron

So I thought my solenoid was gone because I could start it by touching the posts together... replaced with brand new "heavy duty" solenoid, same results (turn key; power is good; won't start... won't even make a noise). So it's not the starter, alternator or solenoid... I am thinking the enitre ignition unit at the wheel needs to be replaced? Any suggestions? Ignition switch?

After an extended absence (9 years) during my time in college, I just recently recovered my Bronco from the depths of my Dad’s garage.

I’m anything but a seasoned mechanic but I do have a reasonable knowledge of how things work. I have been having some troubles with it and have checked into a few things to no avail.

So here I am putting out an SOS to see if someone who knows a lot more than me could point me in the right direction.

For starters my Bronco is basically a bone stock ’69 with the 170ci.

Here is my laundry list of problems and what I have already checked out.

OK, so I just busted my 2nd set of 1st gear spline springs while re-assembling the mainshaft of my np435... Does anyone know if these two little springs are even necessary? The originals were in there when I took it apart but I cannot seem to get 1st gear back on the mainshaft with these in. The gear fits too tight and just shears the bottom of the spline springs off. Any suggestions or wisdom would be greatly appreciated. This is the only thing holding up my assembly...

I'm looking to rebuild a stock 302 and would like to get around 270-285 HP out of it. Anyone got any suggestions on parts to make this happen. I've got a pair of stock ford shorty headers, pertronix electronic ignition and a holley 4bbl carb to go on. Any cam, head suggestions?

Hi. New to this site. I'm currently restoring the original steel rims for my 1974 Bronco Ranger. I'd like to paint them in the original grey color. Problem is, where can I find the paint code that is used on these rims? The same greyish color is also used on parts of the frame. Anyone have a tip here? Appreciate all answers.

has anyone done this and does anyone know where I can get detailed instructions.
