Exhaust Manifold

Exhaust manifolds fit, but will be raised about an inch. You may have enough play in your exhaust pipes to stretch this extra distance or you may not.

Solving Annoying 5.0 SEFI Engine Surge

The "ten pin" connectors are these salt and pepper shaker looking things found at the back of 5.0L engines -between the intake manifold and firewall. These connectors are notorious for developing poor connections and causing strange EEC quirks, like idle fluctuations, check engine lights, and unexplainable diagnostic codes to be triggered. On many Mustangs there may be a dealer installed extension harnesses, making it appear as if there are a total of four of these connectors.

Alternator Upgrade - 3G

3G Alternator Upgrade

A 3G alternator is a 130 Amp alternator that can be found in '94/95 5.0L Mustang GT's
The alternator is a substantial upgrade from the stock 60amp Bronco Alt.

What is needed from the Bronco:

  1. Intact factory wire harness
  2. Wiring schematic (Although you may figure it out by this page)

What is needed to wire the Mustang alternator:

CFI Fuel Injection

Ford CFI (throttle-body, aka TBI in the Chevy World) Install on a '68 Bronco:

What I had:
302, points, 2bbl Motocraft carburetor, cagle fuel pressure regulator,
edlebrock 4 bbl intake--ran great, many people thought I was injected
because the 2bbl ran so well.
