RE: Happy 7th Birthday EBML!

Is there any way the admin can look back to see when people subscribed?
I have been reading the e-mails from this list for at least 5 years, or
at least it feels that long. It would be interesting to know for sure.

This list has helped me keep my interest in the EB after I put my 76 out
to pasture in late 1996. I didn’t even drive a EB till last year but
still kept reading the posts that were of interest to me. Now that I
have my 68 and am slowly working on my76 again I still find the list to
be a great source of info and a great group of people. Keep up the good
work, hope to see you all here in another 7 years!

I wasn't one of the first 5, but I think I was right up there.
At least in the first dozen.
Shannon, I remember I found you selling a 3 spd floor shifter on
the offroad list and you emailed me back and said a group of Bronco only
folks were just starting to trade emails.
Ahhh, those were the days. No automated list, just cut and paste
the "official" emails of the group. Man, people used to get so pissed
when they tried to get "unsubscribed"! Since everyone would just "reply
all" it would take months to finally stop getting emails. Of course some
of us just solved that by never leaving. :)
Yeah, things change, but it's still a great group of people and
an excellent source of info. Thanks to those original members and to all
who came after.
